In Hindsight- What I wish I had known then.... Part 1

After leaving a domestic violence situation I find myself reflecting on how I even got into that situation to begin with. I recently heard one of my mentors tell me, "If you don't look back on what happened, where things took a change, and recognize the red flags, you may end up repeating the pattern again". I am using this avenue to share my experience. I am not planning on telling anyone what to do but I do want to bring to light what I see now that I wish I had seen then.
